- The product presents a risk of fire as the supplied plug does not meet the dimensional requirements of BS 1363 and does not have a fuse link. The fuse is required to ensure the safe operation of the product under fault conditions, and its absence could lead to the plug overheating and/or exploding. There is also no evidence that the product has been assessed using relevant UK conformity assessment procedures as a valid Declaration of Conformity was not supplied. In the absence of evidence to demonstrate the conformity of the product, it may be possible for it to overheat and catch fire.
- The product does not meet the requirements of the Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008 or the Plugs and Sockets (Safety) Regulations 1994.
