- The product presents a serious risk of asphyxiation as it does not have sufficient ventilation to comply with the requirements of BS EN 71-1 and prevent a possible restriction to airflow. The mask has a combined ventilation area of 879 mm², significantly below the minimum requirement of 1300 mm² for fully enclosed masks made from impermeable material.
- If the child user were to place the mask over their head, the inadequate ventilation could restrict their airflow and lead to asphyxiation.
