Pyrrolizidine alkaloid content exceeded in black tea (country of origin: Sri Lanka)

A consignment of black tea from Sri Lanka was detained at the Polish border after testing revealed pyrrolizidine alkaloid levels significantly above the permitted limit. The product has not yet been placed on the market.
