Presence of Morelle in frozen vegetables
Validated by the European Commission: · Ref. 2026.8743
Summary
The EU has issued a product safety alert about certain frozen vegetables from France that may contain high levels of natural toxins. The affected products were distributed to several countries outside the EU and are not available for sale within the EU. Consumers in those countries should check their frozen vegetable packaging for any warnings or recalls related to this issue.
A RASFF notification means that a risk was identified and shared between national authorities. It does not necessarily mean the product was sold in every country — check the distribution list and the measures taken.
