Pesticides above legal limits in fresh chili peppers from Perù

Summary
Fresh sweet peppers from Peru contained pesticide residues exceeding legal limits. Acetamiprid and lambda-cyhalothrin levels were 0.42 mg/kg and 0.40 mg/kg respectively, both above the maximum permitted 0.09 mg/kg. Additional residues of unauthorized substances like fipronil and profenofos were also detected.
