Summary
The EU has issued a safety alert due to excessive nicotine levels in certain SOLO BAR electronic cigarette cartridges. These products contain too much nicotine, posing a serious risk if ingested or if they come into contact with the skin. The affected cartridges will be withdrawn from the market.

What is the risk?
- The product has an excessive volume of nicotine-containing liquid (30ml) and an excessive concentration of nicotine (50mg/ml). This could lead to the accidental consumption of a high dose of nicotine. Nicotine is acutely toxic and can endanger the user’s safety, notably if the product comes into contact with the skin or is ingested. The product does not comply with the requirements of the Tobacco Products Directive.
